Terms of Service
Effective August 27, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Song Comments browser extension and related services. By using Song Comments, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Using Song Comments
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you provide, and activity under your account. Do not share credentials or use the service in violation of law.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Song Comments a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit it.
Community rules
You may not use Song Comments to:
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or expose private information about others.
- Post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or sexually exploitative content.
- Spam, manipulate engagement, evade blocks, or interfere with moderation.
- Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass security or access controls.
- Use automated means to scrape or overload the service without permission.
We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or preserve records when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users, or comply with law.
Third-party services
Song Comments works alongside Spotify and may rely on other service providers. Their products and terms are separate from ours. Spotify may change its website in ways that temporarily limit the extension. Song Comments is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Spotify.
Service availability and changes
We may change, interrupt, or discontinue any part of the service. We do not promise that Song Comments will always be available, error-free, compatible with every version of Spotify Web, or that user content will always be preserved. Keep copies of content that matters to you.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Song Comments is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Song Comments and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or use arising from the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the previous 12 months or US $25.
Termination
You may stop using Song Comments at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or materially disrupt the service. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. For questions, contact us through the Support section of the Chrome Web Store listing.
